About Becky Neideffer
I am an artist with a life-long passion for art. I was born and lived in Indiana until 1993 when my husband retired and we moved to Arizona. My landscape paintings reflect my love of the southwest and my mid-west roots.
I have worked all mediums, but prefer soft pastels and colored pencils. My art is realistic with emphasis on light in both mediums. My paintings are predominately still life, portraiture, and landscapes. Art classes and workshops include basic design, anatomy, landscape, charcoal, watercolor, pen and ink, conte, pastel and oil. Workshops include Maggie Price, Doug Dawson, Stephanie Birdsall, Albert Handell, Phil Starke, Ned Mueller, Larry Charles, Linda Lucas Hardy, Pat Averill and Cecile Baird.
My paintings have been exhibited at many places in the Tucson area. I am a member of the Tucson Pastel Society, the Tucson Plein Air Painter’s Society, the Southwestern League of Fine Arts, the Tucson Color Pencil Artists Association, and the Colored Pencil Society of America, national and state district #212.
